The Jokara-Micheaux Film/Television/Music Production Studio is a new 22,000 square foot facility built in Colquitt, Georgia. It houses our main production facilities, as well as the offices of the Southwest Georgia Film Commission. The studio was completed in 2006, with a grand opening coinciding with the First Annual Jokara-Micheaux Family Film/Video Festival.

The studio contains a large area for set construction and production, video editing suite (Final Cut and Avid) and a sound voice over recording suite. It also contains eight production offices and an on-site wardrobe space. Take One Catering, a full mobile catering is also 20 minutes down the road in Blakely, Georgia. The studio also contains a full make-up facility with a mobile wardrobe and make-up trailer available, along with actors’ portable dressing room trailers. We have production sets already available for you and can assist you with designing and building one specific to your production.
